Riley's Story
Riley Ziskey doesn't sing about stories he hasn't experienced himself.
Growing up on Cattle Stations in Outback Queensland, the love for country music was unavoidable. His Blue collar upbringing has forged the ability to write songs that hit home. Riley spent his younger years, getting the chops required for any musician to thrive amongst the competition, by playing local pubs, rodeos, race meets and Balls.
After a long hiatus from Music working in the mines of Western Australia, the urge to get back on stage grew too strong. His first appearance busking at Tamworth Country Music Festival 2025 earnt him a support Slot on Tori Darke and Brad Butcher's Tour.
With increased momentum from Winning the 'Matt Perrin Development Award' at Country Stars, performing at the Gympie Muster Talent Search and Ekka Country Music Showdown, Riley was added to the Ridin' Hearts Lineup in 2025 headlined by Megan Moroney and Nate Smith without any releases out.
2026 proved fruitful by supporting 'The Buckleys' at TCMF 2026, Opening for Lee Kernaghan in his hometown of Longreach apart of the QLD Music Trails and most recently performed at Lasso Country Music Festival.
With a quick rise in Australia, his first release produced by Jared Adlam, has something to prove.
