My Story
Hailing from Longreach, Central West Queensland, Riley Ziskey is an emerging independent country music artist, podcaster and auto electrician. Riley has swapped small town living for the bright lights of Brisbane to chase the dream. Growing up on Cattle Stations, the love for country music was unavoidable.
He puts his own take on modern country by fusing pop and rock alongside that beloved 90s traditional country sound. 2025 saw Riley's attendance at his first Tamworth Country Music Festival, where after a long hiatus from music working in the mines, he reignited the love for performing on stage.
Soon after Tamworth he opened for Tori Darke and Brad Butcher on their tour. Recently he performed at the Ridin' Hearts Festival in Melbourne and Sydney, which featured a remarkable lineup of country music artists from the USA.
Riley performed at the country stars comp in Maleny receiving the 'Matt Perrin Development Award. He also performed at the Ekka Country Music Showdown and Gympie music muster talent show quickly making his mark in the scene.
With the release of his own original music impending, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year with his high energy live shows here to stay.
